POPULATION PROBLEM

Naturally population of a country is an asset, it becomes a problem when the country cannot afford to give people the basic necessaries of life. In our country population is considerable a major problem because we have no

ability to manage the large population. Poor agricultural production, superstition, natural calamities are also responsible for lengthening this problem.

Population problem is the burning question of our country. Bangladesh is densely populated country in the world and in respect of population she is the eight largest. As a result, she cannot afford to provide her people the basic rights because our wealth is limited. So, the standard of our living is much lower than the other developed nation of the world.

Moreover, the primitive agricultural system in our country cannot produce sufficient food to keep pace with the growth of population. The man cause of the increase of population is the ignorance and prejudices of the people. 85% of the population are illiterate. They can't realize the gravity of the problem of over-population and do nothing to check it. Moreover, they know very little about family planning.

We have many ways to solve this problem. Some of them are as follows :

The people of Bangladesh are still superstition. Only a few percentage is educated. As a result, people do not understand the gravity of the problem. Therefore, to curb this population, wide publicity of the danger of over population must be given first priority. Mass education is a powerful weapon to overcome the problem.

The rapid birth rate can be effectively checked through family planing. Early marriage should be stopped. Each couple must not have more than two children. So, the family planning workers visit every house and convince people of the usefulness of family planning.

It is high time to literate our farmers for developing our agriculture sector. It is well known to all that there is huge wealth hidden under the ground of Bangladesh. If these mineral resources are utilized, the present population will not be a burden on the part of Bangladesh.

Population problem we claim its the first position we saw, cause the problem make by our own mistake. This problem should be solve when we decide to our family planning in a two by one.

When our mother are educated then this problem is hide by us. And its a citizen control with our father's, mother's, sisters, brothers and our relative all these men and women should work for this problem. Then it's not go shed in our country. Most of the village people don't use any protection in family planning, this just a dangerous thing. We need to described this in international possess, when the public are view this problem in comfort. So, we all are discover in the solution open.

Lastly avenues of employment should be found out. If the people are busy at work in factories and offices, population growth will be curbed.

The cloud of over population has begun to disperse. The family planning  is now being popularised day by day. We hope, Bangladesh will Also succeed in controlling her population like all the western countries in time to come.
